Crazy Puppy + Wine Crate Coffee Table = Something broken. So this precious little angel, Emma was a guest in our home for a few
days. We were so happy to have her around.... well, I was happy to have
her around. My husband and our two dogs quickly got tired of her endless
amount of energy. Her last day here she decided to stand up on the
Vintage Wine Crate Coffee Table and one of the slats broke. Here's a
quick tip for fixing it up if this ever happens to you.
I grabbed some wood glue and a clamp, ran glue along the board and place the two pieces together. I wiped away the excess glue and clamp the boards together.
Once the glue dried I grabbed my Bostitch Staple Gun.
I placed glue on the edge of the crate and put my board in place.
Using my Staple gun I stapled the slat back onto the crate.
I stacked some books underneath and on top of the crate for support and weight until the glue dried.
And I was ready to go! Just need to touch-up the table with some stain and you'd never know it happened!
One more pic of Emma when she was a baby! So precious!
Thanks for stopping by!

No, I wasn't upset with Emma. Her "father" had already stuck one of his big feet through a different slat. |

***While I'm thrilled to share my step-by-step directions, the good and the bad, these are intended for your personal use. I'm always happy to hear and see what my bloggers have been working on. BUT a lot of work goes into these creations and while I have no issues sharing so you are able to create the work for your precious homes please understand that selling an exact duplication of my designs is highly frowned upon. :( Please always be considerate of another artists work. Thank you!***
I love the coffee table! And your puppy is to stinkin cute.
