You've all heard the Latin phrase "carpe diem"? Seize the day? So when I found a pic like this floating around Pinterest I knew I needed to recreate it.
Grab a spare board and transfer the saying onto the board.
I wanted my paint to be red wine color. I think I nailed it!
And paint in the letters.
And now it's ready to hang... and I'm a ready for glass.

How did you transfer the letters onto the board? I love it by the way!!! Is 7:41 am too early for a small glass of wine??? Kidding, of course!!!
ReplyDeleteHey Suzie - there are a couple of ways to transfer the letters but the cheapest way is to design the letters (Word will work), print them out, using a pencil scribble on the back of your paper, then flip the paper over and place on top of your board. Trace along the letters and then lead from the back of your paper will transfer onto the board.
