DIY Outdoor Tree
Don't forget to stop by and Like my Facebook Page! DIY Vintage Chic.
This year I was wanting some yard decorations to go with the Lighted Presents from last year. I came across this Hanging Window Display from BHG and thought I'd make a variation of it for outside.
Materials:
Scrap wood
Green Paint
Glitter
Eye hooks
Ribbon
Ornaments
I used some scrap wood I had leftover to create a tree.
I painted the tree. Spray paint would work too. It was too cold outside for me to want to stay out there.
Next I used a thin layer of Mod Podge and then sprinkled glitter on the tree. {Spray glue wood work as well}
I drilled a few small holes into the sides of the tree and screwed in the eye hooks
And then thread some ribbon through the hooks. I hung a few ornaments and it was ready to go!
See how to make the Lighted Presents here. And stay tuned to learn about the deal I got on the black urn in this pic.
Thanks for stopping by!

Been a while since I took Geometry class. It was a little bit of a struggle. :/ |
