DIY Projects... in the works

Don't forget to stop by and Like my Facebook Page! DIY Vintage Chic.

Time to focus! I need to finish up a few projects before I start any new ones. Anyone else have that problem? Here are just a few I'm currently working on.

Wooden Bench Swing
Snagged this guy up for free. Now decisions, decisions...
color, distressed, keep it, sell it???

TV Console
Check out the post and download instructions here
Huge Vase
Snagged this one for free too but what to do with it....
The table saws sitting next to it are about 3 feet to give you an idea
Free Pallet
Have you tried to pull the boards off a pallet? Either we have a super
strong pallet or my hubby and I are wienies! Next to impossible if you
ask me. But one of my husband's coworkers made a request for an
item that doesn't require me to pull every board up so..... stay tuned
Vintage Wine Crate Coffee Table
And of course I almost always have one I'm
working on now. Check them out for sale
in my Etsy Shop.
Thanks for stopping by!

***While I'm thrilled to share my step-by-step directions, the good and the bad, these are intended for your personal use. I'm always happy to hear and see what my bloggers have been working on. BUT a lot of work goes into these creations and while I have no issues sharing so you are able to create the work for your precious homes please understand that selling an exact duplication of my designs is highly frowned upon. :( Please always be considerate of another artists work. Thank you!***

  1. That is my dream porch swing...you need to keep it! Will you paint it, stain it or just clear coat it??

    1. I'm not sure.... :/ If I sell it I will probably just paint or stain it something "normal" like a natural wood color or cream. But if I keep it I'm thinking something bright! :D

  3. I wish I had a front porch large enough for a swing, it would be my first purchase.

    1. Ann, I know. That's my problem. We don't really have the room. But I know one day when we do I'll be kicking myself if I sell it now. :/

  4. Make a patio table out of the big urn...fill with rocks, paint as desired, buy a pre-cut round top and maybe add center post for support, voila...

    1. Oh duh! I should have thought of that since I already made that table. http://diy-vintage-chic.blogspot.com/2012/03/your-own-custom-side-table.html

  5. We finally gave up on pulling the pallets apart entirely, and just cut them apart between nails. Still a lot of wood to use. Anxious to see your finished projects.

    1. That was going to be my next option. It's just too hard to pull them apart.
