DIY Spooky Halloween Decor
Don't forget to stop by and Like my Facebook Page! DIY Vintage Chic.
I stumbled across this while looking through Better Homes & Gardens website. I'm still working on a few details so stay tuned...
Materials
Foam Board
Tape
Magnets
BGH suggests cutting out the shapes on foam board and simply taping them to your garage. Maybe it works if you're in a warmer climate but here in the STL our nights have been dipping down into the 30s. I quickly discovered that the tape would not hold. :( A few sites suggested using magnets so I bought this from Michael's.
I asked the hubby if we had metal garage doors and he said yes. But when I tried to stick the magnets to the door they wouldn't stay. I asked him again if he was sure it was a metal door to which he replied, well it's aluminum... so magnets won't work. :( So I'm trying to find something else now.
BHG has a few free patterns. I found a few more through Martha Stewart. Good luck and let me know if you find something that works!
Thanks for stopping by!

***While I'm thrilled to share my step-by-step directions, the good and the bad, these are intended for your personal use. I'm always happy to hear and see what my bloggers have been working on. BUT a lot of work goes into these creations and while I have no issues sharing so you are able to create the work for your precious homes please understand that selling an exact duplication of my designs is highly frowned upon. :( Please always be considerate of another artists work. Thank you!***
