Here's one of the handmade gifts I gave for Christmas. It was for my brother and sis-in-law. I know they're not planning on staying in their current home forever so I thought it would be helpful to have a mobile growth chart.

I drilled holes along the side of the board. Using an eye hook and tags they can mark their boy's growth.

I purchased these tags. They can write the boys names, height and date.

 Here they are at Christmas taking the first measurement.
